Welcome to the Dattoli Cancer Foundation website. If you are
seeking information about prostate cancer, we hope our site
can be of help to you. Perhaps you have just received a diagnosis,
or someone you love has - and you're wondering what to do next.
The most important action you can take during this journey
is to be your best advocate; learn as much as you can about
prostate cancer and the different treatment options that are
available. Talk to other people who have been there; seek out
local support groups; explore the internet for the latest news.
There is a world of resources at your fingertips, and if you
fully understand what prostate cancer is about and what your
treatment options are, then your decision will be the right
one for you.
The Dattoli Cancer Foundation (DCF) is a not-for-profit (501)
(c) (3) organization that provides prostate cancer information,
support, and literature that will assist you in your search.
Here you will find sound advice on where to look for resources,
support, education, and guidance through the difficult maze
one travels through when dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
The mission of the Dattoli Cancer Foundation:
- To raise awareness of the wide-spread incidence of prostate
cancer and the need for early and annual screening exams,
- To provide information and support to men newly diagnosed
with prostate cancer, and those experiencing recurrence, and
- To foster research into better diagnostic tools and treatment
options for prostate cancer.
